Now usually my family is a bit too lazy to venture out all the way to Bandra for a meal. Why you might ask isn't she the queen of the Burbs and all that? Well yeah she is but there is just a mental barrier in our townie heads that its all the way thereeeee.
In truth though in terms of raw distance it is hardly farther than Nariman Point from my house and that fact is fast sinking in to me at least. So after a little bit of pushing and reasoning that the Sea Link exists for a reason and we should contribute to its upkeep by at least using it once in a while; my parents agreed.Read More
It seems odd doesn't it to be reading a review for Dimsums from a bakery. Its almost like brain saying does not "compute.... error.... error...." Well it is odd and I was surprised when me and the better half landed up there on the eve of her birthday after being chased away by cops for just sitting in the car (another rant for another day my friend).

This is kind of what happened with me when I think about Lemon Grass in Bandra. My first introduction to the chain was when they had this quaint little space in Phoenix which later shut shop. I had a chance again to sample their wares when I went to Bandra some time later however since then I haven't visited them.Read More
In Bombay being part of a Gymkhana like institution is a great privilege, almost something which should be listed as an attribute on a marriage classifieds ad. Beautiful Girl wanted Homely and with a Gymkhana membership. It might sound funny but I'm being serious here, especially due to the rarity of getting membership in one of these hallowed spaces along with the exorbitant fees one has to pay if your considered eligible.
I'm lucky though to know many people whose parents were smart enough to pay up when they had the chance at much more reasonable rates and have since managed to pass the membership along like some sort of family heirloom.Read More
